Men’s Football:

U 21 Team:

The U 21 team qualified for the U21 Div 2 championship final with a well deserved victory against St.Dominics in Tarmonbarry on Sunday afternoon last. In a lightning start goals from Barry Creighton and two from Derek Ryan has the Gaels 3-01 to no score in front after only 12 minutes played in the opening half.  We continued to dominate the remainder of the 1st half helped by 2 points from Stephen Duffy and went in at half time 3-05 to 0-04 in front.

A goal from Dominics early in the 2nd half threatened a comeback and after a period of dominance had the lead down to 7pts mid way through the half. The Gaels steadied the ship and quick sucession points from Barry Creighton, Niall Higgins and Jack Higgins put us back in control and we eventually ran out comfortable winners on a final scoreline of  3-14 to 1-10.
