U-16 Ladies Team:

The u-16 ladies travelled to Ballyleague on Sunday evening last to take on neighbours Castlerea in the final of the u-16 ladies division 3 championship. This was certainly a game of two halves. Western Gaels had the upper hand in the opening half and some well worked scores gave them the lead at the break. Casttlerea came out strong in the second half and were level mid-way through the half, both teams worked hard to get that vital score which would separate the sides. It was level at the final whistle and both teams look forward to the replay with may be next weeend, Final score Western Gaels 6-05, Castlerea 5-08.
